Admission

The Campbell University Honors Program is designed for first-semester freshmen. At present, there is no transfer student option.

The admission process is extremely selective. Eligible students are ranked according to various academic criteria, and a top percentage are invited to apply for admission to the Honors Program by submitting materials including, but not limited to, original essays. These materials are evaluated by a committee.

To be eligible for first-round consideration for a Fall Semester cohort, students should be fully accepted to the University by November 15th of the previous calendar year (typically, the senior year of high school).

The admissions process is a “rolling” process. If seats in the Program remain open after the first round of applications are evaluated, additional rounds of invitations will be sent until all of the available seats in a cohort are filled.
