The Lyricist Literary Magazine

The Lyricist is Campbell University’s annual literary magazine crafted by Campbell students and led by a faculty advisor. The student publication includes poetry, prose, and (sometimes) artwork submitted by members of the Campbell community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni).

Students may sign up for ENGL 412 (The Lyricist) in Spring semesters. Depending on the role, students may earn 1-3 credit hours. The class may be repeated for a total of six credit hours towards graduation. The staff will learn about marketing, publishing, critiquing, financing, and producing a high-quality creative writing journal.
