The Lyricist Literary Magazine

The Lyricist is an annual literary magazine crafted by Campbell students and led by a faculty advisor. The student publication includes poetry, prose, and artwork submitted by Campbell students and North Carolina residents.

Students can sign up for 1-3 credit hours per semester in English 412 (The Lyricist) for a total of six credits toward graduation. Though English 412 is set up as a semester-long course, it is presumed that enrolled students will be on the staff for the entire academic year. Through workshops, the Lyricist staff learns about marketing, publishing, critiquing, financing, and producing a high-quality creative writing journal.
