The Music program cultivates an appreciation for music through a broad cultural lens. Students enjoy a variety of ensembles and applied music opportunities to expand their skills and knowledge of music literature and history.

Music majors receive a minimum scholarship of $1,000 per year.

Music, Music Education Track, B.M. The Music Education with Teacher License program is one of the most versatile and popular music degrees at Campbell, preparing students to enter the classroom after graduation to take on roles music teachers, band directors and choir directors. Music, Performance Track, B.M. The Performance track allows students to immerse in courses and practice in sightsinging and ear training, elementary to advanced tonality, tonal counterpoint, conducting, orchestration, and electronic music. View major courses and requirements

Music, Piano Pedagogy Track, B.M. The Piano Pedagogy program teaches students to perform with musical sensitivity and exceptional technical skills. The program also engages students in specialized courses in-studio piano teaching and running a business as a private piano teacher. View major courses and requirements

Music, Vocal Pedagogy Track, B.M. The Vocal Pedagogy Track is for those singers who want to teach in the private studio setting. Pedagogy students train their own voice to maximize their own musical and artistic abilities as well as take specialized courses to teach others to maximize their own vocal abilities.
