Concert Bands Program

Fostering a community of over 150 talented student musicians

Brass Ensemble The Brass Ensemble performs in Campbell University’s Fine Arts Center, the local community, and the Raleigh area.

Flute Ensemble The Flute Ensemble performs in Campbell University’s Fine Arts Center.

Jazz Ensemble The Jazz Ensemble performs at the end of the spring semester in Campbell University’s Fine Arts Center, in the local community, or in the greater Raleigh area.

Percussion Ensemble The Percussion Ensemble, a chamber group of mallet and battery percussion instruments, performs in the campus Fine Arts Center.

String Ensemble The String Ensemble chamber group performs each semester in the Fine Arts Center on campus.

Wind Ensemble The Wind Ensemble performs each semester in Campbell University’s Hobson Performance Center.

Wind Symphony The Wind Symphony includes students, university faculty and staff, alumni, local secondary and college band directors, and professional musicians from the Raleigh area each semester at the Hobson Performance Center.

Athletic Bands Campbell University Athletic Bands include the Sound of the Sandhills Marching Band, Fighting Camels Color Guard & Fighting Camels Basketball Band. Visit our Athletic Bands

Over150 participants throughout all the programs

directions_bus Become part of the traveling tournament band which travels to basketball tournaments.

Most of our groups are open enrollment – any student can sign up and participate. Our audition groups are Wind Symphony, Brass Ensemble, and Flute Ensemble.
